A Black Hole At The Heart Of The Milky Way Confirms We’re Nothing Special – So Where Does God Come Now?

Filed in Category Christian Astronomy

Question Posed – “The Copernican principle says that we are not the centre and focus and purpose of creation: we are a neither here nor there accretion of recycled stardust assembled by chance and the still somewhat mysterious forces that manage the universe. ”
So what does this mean for humanities ‘god/s’http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/…

You are going to see a switch from ‘the God is in the sky’ to ‘the God is in the details”

Lol, is that the best you can do to downcast God. Pretty weak argument that still does not answer al the major uniform questions still being asked on the creation of the universe or origen of life. aside from that, God states what is the center and focus of creation, not the Copernican principle.

    God is Everything That Is.
She is also the black hole.
She is every god & goddess imagined; She is awareness & creative imagination, themselves.
She is *you*… she is *me*… She is every star, every world & everything upon & in every world, every molecule, atom, electron, positron… all the empty space between.
She is the Dance of Energy in endless change.
She is the Love that embraces us, the Very Love in which each of us was born.
She *is* the Mystery… the “mysterious forces” that none of us have been able to define.
We’re each fully as special as we perceive ourselves, & each other, as being. *We* create the feeling of being “special” or “nothing special.”
We come into existence to *be* — to discover the full range of the meaningfullness of our lives — to extend sensitivity & awareness as far as we choose to grow…

Science would have us believe that we are nothing special.
God would have you believe that we are so special, he gave the dearest thing he had to rescue you…. perhaps from the black hole at the centre of our galaxy – who knows?
Or, as A. W. Tozer put it, “An infinite God can give all of himself to each of his children. He does not distribute himself that each may have a part, but to each one he gives himself as fully as if there were no other.”
It’s so sad that you have no idea of what that means. But one day, you might. If the black hole doesn’t get to you first…

What black holes got to do with whether God cares for us or not is: A black hole is the name given to such a thing because we don’t understand them, God knows what black holes are because he created them for a reason probably without them the Solar systems would not be moving all around in spirals within our Galaxy the “Milky Way” and in turn this would prevent the Earth from gaining memento within the Solar System on moving around the Sun in a spiral and we would all die.. So now tell me we’re nothing special..

When you think of all the people that have been and will be, you realise that youre not an important person. When you think of all that has been before and will be after the extinction of humankind, you realise that the idea of a God that cares about us 24/7 is absurd

“Ah but who MADE the black holes?” God of the gaps argument.
Funny, I’ve never understood how a natural phenomenon suddenly morphs into the omniscient/omnipotent being they always bang on about.

I don’t see any problem with God using black holes as part of the structure of our galaxy, or of the universe.

Don’t worry about the godsters. They can always find a smaller gap into which they can squeeze their imaginary friend.

The problem is when the black hole is your own heart. But love always shows the way out.

God on His throne is the centre of the Universe, and man still doesn’t understand or know enough about Black Holes.
