Question Posed – This was left as an answer only moments ago….
But my question is:
Is Humankind still supposed follow that advice even if evidence points in a completely different direction?
Is this suggesting that we should completely deny what knowledge has been compiled and cease and desist in any future academic endeavors in Biology, Geology, Astronomy, Physics, and Chemistry, in all their fields?

I think we all need to accept that there are people in this world who will lose all sense of hope and meaning in life when they discover there is no god. It’s sad, for many of us are reasonable enough to handle it- there are those who are not. They need to believe in God to believe in life, because life is hard sometimes. I think once (well, I guess I should be PC and say IF) God is disproved, half the world will no longer want or know how to live. It’s really a shame, for NOTHING in life should control our desire to live so completely.
Evidence has pointed consistently towards creation and design. We shouldn’t cease in any of those fields. However they need to be approached with open mind, rather than a mind that will force it’s unproven world view on others. Evolution actually contradicts science; like the established laws of thermal dynamics. The 7 postulates of evolution have never ever been experimentally validated.
There are a very large group of people that would honestly and truly prefer that the human race NOT learn facts about the world, our origins, and our universe. They want “science” to simply accept an unproven myth without evidence, and stay out of their mythology.
Fortunately, they don’t run the world any longer — and we don’t have to listen to their idiotic, superstitious ramblings.

You can enjoy science and take it to its ultimatum and final conclusion but never should you leave God out of the equation..
Any hypothesis or science research that leaves God out of the equation is pseudo science and its not to be ventured into because its doctored falsifiable and a down right lie..
People have there own Beliefs, dates and times and BC’s and so on, are just dates.
Also I wouldn’t follow the bible completely it’s been changed and revised so many times…
Just follow the ten commandments it hasn’t been changed by Man to alter his liking.
Sure… I wonder what that guy thinks where would human kind be now, if we would follow his advice. Faith and science are not compatible and should always be separated from each other. If we want to become “better”, we need to understand the world and its surroundings, so we need to study it!
It is a good suggestion for you to go back to the basics and see where you got some of your information. For example your millions and billions of years cannot be proved. Are all of your endeavors for the betterment of mankind? Or are they strictly to try and eliminate God?
Evidence does not point to evolution. In fact, the more we know the less evidence there is for evolution, which is why Evolutionists are so shrill.
Creationists need to stay focused on reality and accept that it contradicts their fairytales.
No. People should follow provable facts and stop pretending mythology is for real.

God gives mankind the mind to perform these academic endeavors. Mankind has encountered breakthroughs in Technology and medicine for the comfort and pleasures of our lives.
So tell me how can you praise men when it is God that does the work? God said subdue and dominate the earth. So man makes an attempt. God shows clemency because these fields are ignorant regarding the word of God.
Men are to focus on the creator. Earths history is a evidence of God. That God made everything for us. God gave us everything. God made us a model of perfection full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. He put us in Eden the garden of God. It is us that messed up with our attributes of self importance. Self absorbed with greed and gain.
It does suggest that we have completely denied the act of God in our endeavors of what knowledge and wisdom we have compiled without insight of the finger of God. God gives us advice in his word. Evidence points yet we view it as less than understanding. Men are lead by ego. God gives us understanding.
God gets the glory and we give him the praise for it. Praise does not cost us a thing. But it gives us so much more. Because it moves the hand of God over those that have forgotten who he is.
