Question Posed – Why is there such a stark contrast between science on Christian websites and science on secular websites?
It’s like they’re not even talking about the same subject… here’s an example if you’re not sure what I mean:
Secular Grand Canyon:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geology_of_…
Christian Grand Canyon:http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation…

The “science” on religious websites like “Answers in Genesis” isn’t science.
Christian science = oxymoron.
Edit: I just love how answers in genesis uses scientific references that are so old *the most recent references they used were from 1991-1992, half of them were from before 1975* you could consider them antiques.
Anyone with more than an 8th grade education knows that every last one of those theories has long since been updated and revised in light of new evidence and better research/testing methods.
They look at the final result and then look for evidence to support it, even if they have to twist and bend and distort it.
Science works the proper way. We find as much evidence as possible and draw a conclusion on it, regardless of whether or not it makes sense to us. Relativity doesn’t make sense, and yet it’s true.
because there is no such thing as christian science
the fact that its a seperate ‘science’ to actual science tells you all you need to know about it
if there is christian science, there is hindi science, buddhist science pagan science, nonreligious, atheist, brunette, blue eyed science too
but, there is not, there is just science
and peopel who acept it and understand it
and those who dont
Christian “science” is not based on the scientific method of discovery and are not peer-reviewed as secular science is. It is based on right wing Christians forcing it down the throat of the masses who are sheep and can not reason on their own.
One is based on extensive research and a consensus across the scientific community, the other is based on an emotional belief and uses failing logic and statistically insignificant research to back up that emotional belief.
In science, it is well to search out ones data before one forms a hypothesis, do it any other way, and one irrevocably begins to search out only the data which fits ones own particular pet hypothesis.
Because in Christian science you already have the ‘answer’ (god did it) and you’re working to make the evidence fit your pre-arrived answer.
Christians are ignorant morons who would rather believe in mysticism and myths rather than facts. There is no research or testing just blind faith in some dumb book of parables.
“Christian Science” isn’t really science.
To me it just kind of seems like they just make things up to fit into their bubble willful ignorance.
Christian science? Talk about an oxymoron.
Because one of them is not really science.
EDIT: What Red said. Echo…echo…echo…
one has an agenda.
