1 Short History of nearly everything – Bill Bryson, got round to reading all of that this year
Adrift in Caledonia – Nick Thorpe
2 Short History is really good at providing a serviceable mental picture of the universe.
Adrift in Caledonia is a story about a former fundamentalist christian who has been an agnostic and then has moved back to moderate christianity, goes on an odd journey by boat raft ship etc around Scotland and follows in the footsteps of some early monks and visits places from his past, it was a brilliant read, especially if you like Scotland.
3 Amenity Horticulture and Arboriculture for a large national company.
If I am skiving in the van and for half an hour at bedtime
4 probably 15-20 this year, mainly travelogues and humour.
Astronomy unless couched in very broad laymans terms confuses me LOL religion well I read the bibble regularly but have studied the subject extensively many novels and philosophy a book called 11 Minutes, and what do I do? I play as I have most of my life, except for brief periods when married, well not really, thats why I got divorced twice. By the way when you were doing all this study and reading did you find time to have a life, I hope so. Youth comes only once, there are many things you will not be able to do when you are olde,r do them when it is time
happy new year to you too.
